Toilets and showers

*Our cleverly designed compost loos’ mean they look like a normal toilet! The only rule with these is that you add sawdust into the hole after you’ve done your business. Men can stand up. Woman can even squat! Although, we ask everyone to wipe the toilet with the eco products provided after each use.

IMPORTANT NOTE There are steps up to toilets and we ask young children to be supervised at all times. 

Washing area

Double washing up sink with hot and cold water to wash your camping fry ups and crockery. Eco-friendly washing up liquid provided.

Y Sied (The Shed)

Y Sied is a communal space for guests to enjoy. Free refreshments are available for guests in the kitchenette. Charge your phone, use your hairdryer, keep your beer and wine cold in the fridge-freezer, read a book from our library or play a game or two on those damper days. There are also some toys for the younger children and a multi games table, which include foosball, ping pong and pool.

Outside Y Sied are two picnic tables and a fire campfire, which will be lit on dedicated evenings for our guests. This magical area is set near a woodland and offers a friendly vibe without disturbing the campers wishing to have a quieter break.

The play area and flushable toilets are situated right next to Y Sied.

Cooking

Barbeque grills for the fire bowls are available to hire. Fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and a microwave are available for guests to use in the communal shed – Y Sied. There are also plates, mugs and cups available for guests to borrow. We ask everyone to kindly wash up and tidy after themselves. 

Play area and solar-lit woodland path

We encourage wild play at Cae Lal – there are plenty of natural materials to let the imagination run free. It’s a safe place for kids to wander through woods around the field, build dens and dip feet in the stream. We also have a designated play area with picnic tables. 

The woodland path is lit by little solar lights creating a magical, fairy land vibe to the natural surroundings.

PLEASE NOTE Children must be supervised. We have a stream running around the edge of the camping field, which is vital for drainage, and not suitable for very young children.

Picnic tables

Four large picnic tables are dotted around the site. Romantic bistro-style tables and chairs can be found in the nooks and crannies of the woodland paths.

Wheelbarrows

To make life a little easier on arrival, we have several funky pink wheelbarrows to help you carry your luggage and tents from your vehicle to your pitches.

Campfires and barbeques

Campfires are allowed on dedicated areas on the pitches. Fire pits must be hired from us. They all come with a bbq grill and are hand made by our family’s business. We also allow barbeques as long as they’re raised off the ground. We strictly don’t allow disposable ones onsite. Logs and kindling for the fire pits are available to buy on site.
