We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Cae Lal. I would easily say the best campsite we have ever stayed at. Everything was thought of, combined with being Eco friendly and located in a really easy to access and perfect place. The facilities are beautiful and actually super stylish, not something I would usually say about camping toilets! Everything was always clean and there was always hot water for showers, and washing up. I would recommend to everyone! Thank you!
Really stunning location when the skies cleared up to reveal the views. Best camping showers - ever! Such a lovely place, I've already been recommending it to friends. Lots to do nearby, and convenient shops very close (not that you notice that at the campsite).
One of the best campsites I have stayed at, all eco friendly, absolutely stunning location, pitch layout is perfect with long grass as natural dividers, owners are so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. The facilities are brilliant, there's a unit with a kitchen (sink, fridge, microwave, kettle) if you don't want to go too hardcore, loos were always clean and the I think I prefer them to my own! Incredible hidden gem which will now be my only choice when visiting north Wales, highly recommend and I will be back very soon!
The glamping pod was lovely. It was very clean and well equipped, and the bed was so comfy!Toilets and showers were well thought out and I loved the free toiletries.
Lovely eco friendly campsite with fantastic showers. What they are succeeding in and achieving is providing a positive experience to camping wether you are new to camping or a seasond camper. Almost everything has been thought of and the campsite is well designed and put together. The communal building is a great addition with good facilities. Kitchen, fridges and freezers, charging ports etc. There are flushable toilets available as well as the long drop style of eco toilets but they can be a fair distance from the lower field especially at night. A facility to empty portable toilets would be useful obviously using environmentally friendly products for those campers who have a fear of walking alone in the dark or young children, then they could bring their own loos. Or possibly you could look into hiring them out with a toilet tent, paper and your own choice of chemical. Be prepared to treck with your gear from the car to your pitch too, but the pink wheelbarrows make this job easier. Our pitch was about 200meters from the car park. Location is good as a base for exploring North Wales and Anglesey. Glamping and chalet style accommodation is available too and looked fab. Owners were friendly and helpful.
