Absolutely incredible campsite. We spent the most magical 5 days here with a mixture of walking, exploring and just relaxing at the campsite.Bethan was a wonderful host and has created a slice of heaven!
We arrived during the bank holiday and stayed 4 nights.Great eco campsite situated between the mountains and the beaches. The site had clean showers, toilets (compost and flushing) and communal area.Staff are very friendly and helpfulWe would definitely stay again
Lovely little spot tucked away with an emphasis on peace and quiet, relaxation, and nature. With that in mind, they let the grass around the pitches grow, and the place is full of wild flowers and bird life. The facilities are everything I want and nothing extraneous - toilets, showers, common room with fridge/kettle/microwave. WiFi is also accessible in the common area, and we were able to get a bit of work done when not out exploring. They have recently completed a sauna which you can use for a small fee.No significant noise after 10.30 means it's not suitable for large groups of young 'uns wanting to party (and we all breathe a sigh of relief) but they do hold events in summer where I'm sure the rules are relaxed. The staff are warm and friendly which we really appreciated, they made us feel very welcome, and gave the place a homely feel.Give this unique place a try, they deserve your custom.
Amazing campsite with lovely facilities really enjoyed my stay will definitely be returning. Great location, shops are just a short drive away but you wouldn't think it as the campsite is tucked away down a country lane surrounded by the most beautiful landscape. Great base camp for hiking/outdoor activities.
A wonderful first camping experience for our young children! We stayed in one of Cae Lap’s Emperor tents with our 2 year old and 6 month old. The tent is spacious and beautifully furnished and the setting is idyllic. Bethan provided lots of facilities that we didn’t expect, like toiletries in the showers and a full kitchenette in the community kitchen. The tent stood up well to mixed weather in April and felt completely secure in high winds and hail. We were surprised by how cosy the tent was despite pretty cold outside temperatures! Having very little experience with fires, we found the wood burning stove a little bit tricky to keep going, but were perfectly snug and warm in the cosy beds anyway. When we did get the stove working, we were so warm that we almost forgot we were in a tent! Thank you Bethan for an experience we will never forget 😊
